The Payroll Revolution now available
March 15, 2013 at 7:45 AM
"The Payroll Revolution" was officially launched in Sydney yesterday evening, and Mitefinch's Marketing Manager, Jamie Fitzsimons and Sales Manager, Allan Murdoch were delighted to join others from the HR and Payroll industry at the event.
There is still misconception in business that payroll is a simple, single dimensional back office function for an employer.
In reality payroll professionals are responsible for understanding and interpreting a myriad of ever changing regulations and legislation as well as managing the demands of employers and employees.
When the payroll is correct, it typically goes unnoticed, when it’s wrong it can get headlines in the press!
The Payroll Revolution provides practical advice for those working in payroll on how they can ensure they are highly valued in their organisation and be accepted as a professional in their field.
The Payroll Revolution is now available to buy on Amazon or via www.thepayrollrevolution.com.au
About the Author
Tracy Angwin has a background working with software vendors and payroll professionals and has spent the last 20 years trying to get one to make sense of the other.
Her corporate career included senior roles at MicrOpay and NorthgateArinso.
In 2008 Tracy responded to a growing market need for an independent organisation to provide quality products, support services and representation for the payroll industry. This resulted in Australian Payroll Association which publishes a weekly payroll newsletter to over 3,700 subscribers.
In 2012 she published an eBook “Do you have your payroll responsibilities covered” which has been downloaded almost 1000 times.
